From his great-grandfather’s community involvement starting back in the 1920s to GDC Construction’s continued support today, Pancho Dewhurst and his family have always cared deeply for La Jolla’s architectural history and preservation. 

In this La Jolla Light column, Pancho discusses “the Jewel’s” reputation and preservation from a structural point of view, while offering up some advice to historic property owners.
