George Dewhurst - george(enable javascript or add @ here)gdcconstruction.com

George Dewhurst's bio and family history speak for themselves. This third-generation La Jollan has been building some of the finest and best-known structures in San Diego and beyond for decades. The patriarch of GDC Construction, George brings with him experience that ranges from two and a half years of building water systems and poultry farms in India as a Peace Corps volunteer to overseeing the construction of the Mount Soledad War Memorial in La Jolla. He's been focusing on excellent customer service and top-quality construction as a builder in La Jolla for 30 years. In that time, his signature has been seen on plans for such memorable structures as the Roche Bobois showroom on Girard Avenue and All Hallows Catholic Church (as project manager under a different company) at the peak of Mount Soledad. These days, George is happy to play the role of a guiding light for GDC, shepherding his son Pancho and his good friend and colleague Scott Murfey as they unfold the next chapter in the story of GDC Construction.
