Beth and I thank you and the entire GDC team for the excellent work performed at our residence at 6205 Camino de la Costa in La Jolla. Over the past 12 months GDC implemented a major remodel to our home involving may architects, trades and changes requested by us. The project was also challenging given our decision to live at the house through the remodel with three school aged children and two dogs.

The project was also challenging given our decision to live at the house through the remodel with three school aged children and two dogs.
We chose GDC during the selection process due to your responsiveness, the detail of your bid, and the involvement of many trades in developing the bid. We were very pleased with the performance of the on-site supervisor, Quinn Carrigg. Quinn effectively managed the subcontractors such that any contentious issues with the subcontractors were never escalated to us. He insisted on the highest quality work product and he maintained a very clean environment. GDC provided responsive answers to our many questions during the project and the highest level of professionalism was exhibited throughout the GDC team.
Beth and I love our home and we receive many compliments about the curb appeal and the detail and quality of the construction. We are very pleased we chose GDC to expertly manage the remodel of our home."

This was a particularly difficult project for everyone because of George's illness and unexpected death converging right in the middle of the remodeling. I will never forget the great respect and compassion you and your men showed to him and to me during the whole process.
I already knew about the excellent professional skills of GDC, and have written about them before, regarding previous jobs. Your workers are highly skilled and they know this building well, which helps a lot. They were always considerate of our neighbors, also. But I didn't realize how much caring and concern on a personal level would result from our sad situation. It was touching to see your people, all the way from the laborers through the carpenters and foremen to Kathy, Pete, Scott, you, and your father respond so sincerely.
